Florence

Florence is the capital of Tuscany. The city has a population of less than half a million people and is situated in the centre of Italian peninsula between the Adriatic and Tyrrhenian Seas. Florence is one of the best cities in Italy for its culture, art and science. It is easily accessible from the most important places both in Italy and abroad.
